Local Search Results on Google Maps now Global

Google Local search results on Google Maps is now available global. Google has finished the worldwide rollout of local search results on a map, which makes searches as easy as they can be. Your search will now appear even if you don’t type in a location.

Your Google search will match with your IP address to a broad geographical location and show results in your local area. You can search for specific stores or street addresses near you, probably a gym or a restaurant, even a particular store like Gap in Beverly Hills. You can also specify your probable location using the “Change location” link on the top right corner, above the map.
