Integrate Google Maps on your Website

You can integrate your Google Maps listing on your company website by putting the embed code provided by Google. This is an opportunity to provide your website visitors with a geographical view of your location. It is also a unique and interactive way of providing clients with directions to your business place.

You can embed a simple map, a set of driving directions, a local search, or maps created by other users. Here are 3 easy steps:

  1. Make sure that the map you would like to embed shows in the current map display.
  2. At the top-right corner of the map you will need to click on the word LINK, and then a box will pop up.
  3. In the box, copy the URL under “Paste HTML to embed in website ” and paste it into the source code of your website or blog. You have the option to adjust the size of the map before embedding it to your site. To do this, click “customize and preview embedded map” and select your preferred size. Once you are satisfied with what you see in its preview you can now copy the HTML code provided in the box at the bottom part of the window.

You are given a URL by Google Maps to paste in your emails and IMs that you can see in “Paste link in email or IM” box.
